A Paphos Taxi Service Decades in the Making

Before the A6 motorway existed and the B7 was just a winding district road, Vangelis was driving the families and visitors of Paphos in his taxi. He remembers the days of the old Volga taxis, a common sight across Cyprus, and navigating the roads long before the area became a premier travel destination. Today, he and his son, George, continue that work from their base on Kesarias Street in Paphos.

We are not a booking platform. We are a licensed, family-owned Paphos taxi company. When you book with us, you are speaking directly to the people who will manage your transfer and the drivers who know these roads personally.

The Journey from Paphos Airport to Neo Chorio

Your transfer to the Anassa Hotel begins at Paphos International Airport (PFO). The 56-kilometer drive typically takes just under an hour. After leaving the airport, we head north, bypassing the main Paphos tourist center and joining the B7, the primary road toward Polis Chrysochous.

This route cuts through the island’s rolling terrain, passing small communities like Stroumbi and Giolou as we descend into the Chrysochou valley. You’ll see the landscape shift, with citrus groves becoming more common as we approach the coast. The final section of the drive takes you past the town of Polis and Latchi Harbour, hugging the coastline of Chrysochou Bay until we arrive at the Anassa Hotel’s distinct entrance in Neo Chorio. The hotel itself sits on the quiet edge of the Akamas Peninsula National Park, a protected nature reserve.

Your Fixed-Price Transfer Includes:

  • Flight Monitoring: We track your inbound flight to Paphos. If your flight is delayed, we adjust the pickup time accordingly. You will not be charged extra.
  • Airport Welcome: Your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall at PFO, holding a sign with your name. They will assist with your luggage to the vehicle.
  • Fixed Fare: The price we quote is the price you pay. The fare is for the vehicle, not per person, and includes all taxes and fees. There are no surprise meter charges due to traffic or route changes.
  • Local Knowledge: Our drivers are from the Paphos district. We know when local festivals or market days might slow traffic near Polis and can navigate alternative routes to ensure a smooth journey.

Our Fleet: The Right Vehicle for Your Anassa Trip

Anassa Hotel

We maintain a fleet of clean, air-conditioned vehicles suited for the expectations of Anassa guests.

  • Mercedes-Benz Sedans: Ideal for couples, individuals, or small families of up to four passengers. These vehicles provide a comfortable, quiet ride.
  • Spacious Minibuses: For larger families, wedding parties, or groups traveling with excess luggage or sporting equipment, our minibuses offer ample space.
  • Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle: We have a specially adapted vehicle to provide safe and comfortable transport for passengers with mobility needs. Please mention this requirement when booking so we can ensure its availability.

Beyond the Airport: Local Excursions in the Polis District

Your stay at Anassa places you in one of Cyprus’s most scenic areas. We provide private hire taxi services for day trips and local travel.

Many of our Anassa guests ask us to take them to Latchi Harbour for a fresh fish dinner. Based on what local fishermen are bringing in, we can point you toward a reliable choice like Psaropoulos Tavern, a family-run spot known for its fresh sea bream and calamari. We can also arrange excursions to the Baths of Aphrodite or provide drop-off and pickup for hikers tackling the trails of the Akamas Peninsula.
